Noise protection area for the management of urban land-use planning
Description
In accordance with LEP 2006 B V 6.4.1, noise protection areas were designated in the regional plans for traffic and special airports as well as for military airfields with jet aircraft operation. Due to the transitional regulation on noise protection areas pursuant to § 3 of the Ordinance on the LEP 2013, as amended by the Ordinance of 21 February 2018, the provisions of B V 6.4.1 continue to apply to the Munich, Salzburg and Lechfeld airfields until a noise protection area has been established for the respective aerodrome pursuant to § 4 of the Act on Protection against Aircraft Noise. Paragraph 3 of that regulation shall expire on 1 September 2023.
