SAPOS® High-Precision Real-time Positioning Service — HEPS
Description
The high-precision real-time positioning service (HEPS) is one of three service areas of the satellite positioning service (SAPOS®) of the German national survey. It is available to registered users throughout Bavaria and enables real-time positioning in the official ETRS89 system with an accuracy of 1-2 cm (position) and 2-3 cm (height).
The data is optionally output in RTCM 3.1 or 2.3 as code and phase observations for GPS and GLONASS. This data format can be processed by all RTK-enabled geodetic receivers (Rovers). To receive the correction data, a mobile Internet connection (GPRS or UMTS) or a telephone connection is required. In RTCM 2.3 format, the GLONASS correction values are only available via the Internet connection. Please note that the new height reference system DHHN16 will be introduced as of 30.06.2017.
