LGRB-BW KMR50: Former extraction of raw materials in open pit mining (points)
Description
In addition to recording the current extraction of raw materials, quarries, clay, clay, sand and gravel mines operated before 1986 are also mapped and documented. These “reducings” occur particularly frequently in areas with interesting deposits and thus provide important indications of the past use and quality of the deposit concerned. In addition, it is important to identify areas that have already been mined and filled as accurately as possible in order to support planning of a wide range of types (future extraction of raw materials, temporary mining for monument maintenance, road construction, designation of construction areas, etc.). Small excavations (< 0.5 ha) are recorded only with their position coordinate (without polygon). Status: Publication of the respective KMR50
