Description
This map of benthic stands in the Quiberon sector is the result of data processing, analysis and aggregation of:
— campaigns REBENT 1 and 2 (2003);
— IMPACT campaign 8 (2002).
Two cross-sources of data acquisition were used: an on-board acoustic system (multibeam sounder) and towed (side-scan soundar), allowing the definition of first classes of acoustic signatures, corresponding to morpho-sedimentary units, supplemented by dump sampling campaigns (biological sedimentary samples), video profiles and dives.
