Description
The Integraal Care Agreement (IZA) sets ambitious targets for acute care in the Netherlands. An appointment in the IZA is that all ROAZ regions develop a ROAZ image and then create a ROAZ plan. The IZA Administrative Consultation at the end of December 2022 established the national set of criteria for drawing up the ROAZ image and ROAZ plan.
The RIVM facilitates the ROAZ regions with the provision of public data files partly from the RIVM itself, and partly from other parties. In addition, RIVM takes care of public publication of these files. The publication of the ROAZ images will take place around the end of Q2 2023.
The datasets provided by the RIVM, also on behalf of other parties, and which can be consulted publicly are as follows:
— Response time percentages Ambulance care to ROAZ region (RIVM)
— Response time rates MMT (RIVM)
— Patient flows of acute care to ROAZ region (NZa)
— Labour market figures acute care (Capacity body)
— SEH contacts for specific patient groups and treatments broken down by gender, age and ROAZ regions (RIVM) (publication as of 1 June 2023)
— SEH contacts for specific conditions to ROAZ region (RIVM) (publication as of 1 June 2023)
— Locations and accessibility of SEHs, Ambulance pitches, HAPs and crisis GGZ (RIVM)
— Population figures by ROAZ region (CBS, RIVM)
— Regional population and household forecast (CBS, PBL)
— 4-digit postal code and municipality breakdown by ROAZ region (RIVM)
In addition to these ROAZ images, it has also been agreed in the IZA that regional parties draw up and/or update a regional image. This allows them to make plans for the region. Criteria have also been agreed for regional images. The market leader health insurer and the designated municipality take the initiative to create an (updated) regional picture. Acute care is also part of these regions and the above datasets will also be published at www.regiobeeld.nl/basisbeeldiza.
