REDIAM. WMS HIC 6220-1 Mediterranean grassland (Lygeo-Stipetea) (*-)
Description
WMS service corresponding to the Habitat of Community Interest priority at European level, but proposed as a non-priority for Andalusia 6220-1. It corresponds to grasslands of vivacious grasses, xerophiles, thermophiles, usually basophils or neutrals, of generally high size, deeply rooted, among which are included spartals, albardinales, lastonares and cerrillares. They develop in moderately deep soils, often superficially stony, which have a fundamental role in soil fixation and the fight against erosion. Among the characteristic species that compose them are Stipa tenacissima, Festuca scariosa, Brachypodium retusum, Hyparrhenia hirta, etc. Node of the Andalusian Environmental Information Network. Regional Government of Andalusia. Integrated in the Spatial Data Infrastructure of Andalusia, following the guidelines of the Cartographic System of Andalusia.
