Description
The Digital Topographic Map 1:100 000 is computer-based and derived in new map graphics from the Digital Landscape Model and the Digital Terrain Model. It is available in both printed (TK100) and raster format (DTK100). As compared to the TK50 the four-fold area is represented on the same map size, its legibility can only be guaranteed if selected elements are rendered in simplified form (generalisation). The new map graphics are characterised by a modern colour scheme. In particular, the traffic network, the settlement and vegetation areas are clearly and quickly to be recorded in their thematic structure by means of their colour scheme.
