BRO - Groundwater Monitoring Well (GMM) - Geology (INSPIRE harmonised) ATOM
Description
This dataset contains data from Dutch groundwater monitoring wells from the Basisregistratie Ondergrond (BRO), harmonised to the INSPIRE dataset specifications for hydrogeology.
A groundwater monitoring well is a structure in the subsurface to monitor groundwater level or groundwater quality changes in a specific part of the subsurface for an extended period of time. Usually a well consists of one or more monitoring tubes with a filter at the bottom. The well is protected at the surface by a sealing structure.
