Noise mapping for industrial and commercial noise is carried out exclusively in
Agglomerations;
pursuant to Section 4(1) of 34. BImSchV shall be covered by industrial or commercial premises insofar as they carry out activities in accordance with Annex I to Directive 2010/75/EU on industrial emissions (integrated prevention and reduction of
Pollution (IED) or ports for inland or maritime transport with a total throughput of more than 1.5 million

Calculation is based on Directive 2002/49/EC on the assessment and control of ambient noise (EU Environment Noise Directive – EU-ULR)
