WMS service corresponding to the AQUA MODIS satellite image annual anomaly of Chlorophyll-a for the year 2021 compared to the average for the period 2000-2021. Spatial resolution 1100 m. Scope Atlantic Ocean and Alboran Sea. In ETRS89 UTM spindle 30. In order to obtain the changes in the concentration of chlorophyll-a (mg/cm3), at sea, of the last year of study, with respect to its average behavior over the historical series 2000-2021. With this image, the increase or decrease of this parameter can be observed, which in turn allows the estimation of the concentration of phytoplankton and indirectly of biological activity, in addition to being used as an instrument for monitoring eutrophication processes in the marine environment.
