Description
An important instrument for securing groundwater for the purpose of drinking water supply is the establishment of water protection areas in the catchment areas of drinking water wells. A water protection area is divided into several zones in which graduated restrictions and prohibitions apply. The data set includes the water protection area of zones I, II, IIIa and IIIb in the city of Braunschweig.
