Excursion Report 2013, Gesäuse National Park
Description
Currently, 1056 butterfly species are known. Approximately 63,800 specimens have been observed and determined so far. For the butterflies, the year was different: a delayed spring, a short favorable location from mid-June to early August, an almost complete failure of the autumn fauna due to extremely variable weather.
