Water erosion hazard – Soil removal (t/ha/a) Water erosion (RxKxS)
Description
The data set contains data from the LBGR on soil removal (t/ha/a) by water erosion (RxKxS) in the state of Brandenburg and is provided via a display and download service. The soil removal data set shows the spatial distribution of potential soil removal by water on Brandenburg's agricultural land. The determination was based on DIN19708 (https://dx.doi.org/10.31030/2676773), the underlying method of which is referred to as the General Soil Ablation Equation (ABAG). The soil removal is shown in a spatial resolution of 5x5 meters. The potential soil erosion by water, also known as natural soil erosion, results from the combination of the regenerative factor R, soil erosion factor K and slope slope factor S. The erosion is expressed in unit t/ha/a.
