Heat radiation from the roofs of Helsinki
Description
The material contains heat radiation from Helsinki roofs in 30 cm pixels. Helsinki was filmed with thermal imaging cameras from an aircraft in March 2015. The material was completed in the Decumanus project and was produced by Eurosense, a Belgian company specialising in spatial information services. The thermal radiation of the roof is influenced by, among other things, the shape of the roof, the material and the temperature of the room below, which should be taken into account when interpreting the results. The data includes an interpretative key, which, based on the characteristics of the roof, can be used to determine what the colours of your roof mean from the point of view of the quality of heat insulation.
