Statistical indices for Freiburg i. Br. Social index (categorisation)

Description

The social index serves to break down the multidimensionality of the social situation in the (statistical) districts to a value. The multivariate analysis method used to determine makes it possible to map valid comparative values of districts and developments over time, and is stable enough not to be influenced by outliers or statistical errors. The social index is measured by seven indicators: Unemployment rate women, average age of mothers at birth, proportion of persons with a personal migrant background, rate of benefit recipients according to SGB XII (basic protection in old age and in the case of reduced labour force), rate persons in communities of need according to SGB II (0 to under 65 years), voter turnout in federal elections and in state elections. Result of factor analysis: Quantiles of the estimated coefficients for factor scores by means of regression analysis (factor calculation based on 3-year mean)
