Drinking water extraction sites where plant protection products are classified as (potential) problem dust
Description
This map shows which extracts plant protection products have been found as a potential or current problem substance. The map is based on information from the area files for drinking water extraction.
In an area file of extraction, current and future risks to water quality are identified by the parties involved (municipality, province, drinking water company and water manager). These risks can be both substantive and policy in nature. The area files also identify possible measures agreed by the parties at a subsequent stage. The directors also shape the process of making agreements and monitor the progress of the implementation of measures as agreed.
