Description

areas actually flooded during the flood events of 12-13 August 2002 (waters 1 and 2); Order) and on 17.08.2002 (Elbe) Content: The images were generated from flights of the Bundeswehr to the highest level of the Elbe (17.08.2002) and satellite images (18.08.2002) as well as numerous documentations of employees of the city administration and citizens using the urban digital terrain model (DGM). The actual extension was last verified in July 2003 as a result of an online citizen survey.
