(High quality) public transport - Influence areas Bus and tram 800m
Description
The use of public transport is strongly determined by the quality of the pre- and post-transport. Met het invloedsgebied van een bushalte wordt aangegeven hoe ver mensen bereid zijn te lopen naar de halte. The area of influence is larger the faster public transport is, the higher the frequency and the longer the journey. For bus and tram lines, an area of influence with a radius of 400 to 500 metres is common, for metros 700 to 1000 metres. The Province of Zuid-Holland has established four categories in which the areas of influence are calculated:
1. National rail stops: 1200 meters.
2. Regional rail stops (local train or metro): 1200 meters.
3. Bus and tram stops category HOV: 800 meters.
4. Bus and tram stops category Non-HOV: 500 meters.
This dataset contains the category 3 areas of influence.
