Description
Map 1.1 of Germany’s Orohydrography opens the table series of the HAD. This signals that relief and terrain forms are fundamentally linked to the development of the water network and the manifestation of hydrological conditions. Orohydrography is composed of the terms orography and hydrography. Both emphasise the fundamentally descriptive character of the presentation. The object of orohydrographic considerations are the relief and distribution of water.
