Description
Information on large combustion plants of the notified sites in 2022.
The 13th BImSchV regulates requirements for so-called large combustion plants. These installations are subject to measurement and reporting obligations vis-à-vis the European Union. Due to the scope of EU Directive 2001/80/EC, e.g. large combustion plants from sugar factories and the chemical industry are exempt from these reporting requirements. Large combustion plants, which also co-incinerate waste, are subject to different reporting requirements, so these are not taken into account here.
This interactive map shows the large combustion plants recorded in Lower Saxony in the area of responsibility of the Trade Inspectorate and the State Office for Mining, Energy and Geology, which fall within the scope of application of the 13th are subject to the BImSchV.
By clicking on the individual locations, you will receive detailed information about the systems. The information sheet of the respective large combustion plant contains data provided by the operator, such as the operator of the plant, the energy use and emissions of SOx, NOx and dust, as well as the competent pollution control authority.
In the information sheet you will also find a diagram showing the annual emissions to be reported and the total energy use of the last four years. The data are updated annually.
