Groundwater abstractions greater than 12,000 m3 in 2015
Description
The map shows the locations of permanent groundwater abstraction installations on which more than 12,000 m3 of groundwater was extracted in 2015. Extractions for the purpose of groundwater remediation and construction well drainage are not indicated on the map, nor are locations for groundwater abstraction for open geothermal energy (WKO). The abstraction and infiltration of water is usually done in the first aquifer package, sometimes in deeper aquifer packages; the discharge of brine in the second aquifer package. The extraction of drinking water is located within the boundaries of the water catchment area (part of the environmental protection areas for groundwater).
