Regional list of lay artificial insemination operators
Description
The dataset contains the list of Practical Operators authorized to practice Artificial Insemination and Embryonic Implant in the regional context.
Lay Operators are natural persons (without a degree in Veterinary Medicine) who have obtained suitability for the practice of Artificial Insemination pursuant to Article 2 of Law No 74 of 11 March 1974, operating in the regional territory.
The practice of Animal Reproduction is governed by specific national regulatory provisions (Law 30/1991) harmonized with the regional ones (R.r. n.3/2003) in order to constantly improve the breed standards of the various species bred.
