3D-models of loose rock in Lower Saxony - Elbe-Weser-Region
Description
The model covers an area of about 2100 km2 along the North Sea coast of Lower Saxony between the cities of Cuxhaven, Stade and Bremerhaven and is designed as a base layer model. The subsurface up to the quaternary base with a total of 19 geological units is depicted.
With the help of helicopter electromagnetic data (HEM), the drenthe-time compression zone of Wingst/Lamstedt was modelled as a top layer. The units of the Zechstein (EW_18) and the chalk (EW_19) are also shown as top layers.
