E-government interface measuring function
Description
The e-government interface measurement function is a web service that is provided via the e-government basic component Geodata (GeoBAK). The measurement function calculates different values for geometry objects, e.g. the area of a polygon, the length of a line, and coordinates of a point in different coordinate systems.
The interface is used in particular in the map viewer of the geoportal.
The coordinate display of the points takes place in geographical coordinates (WGS84 GPS coordinates) and can be used e.g. with different map representation.
Measuring lines can determine the length of sections and the total length.
