Water network of the state of Brandenburg
Description
The water network (winned25.shp, version 4.3) contains the main rivers of Brandenburg and Berlin, federal waterways including other federal waterways and state waters 1. Order in accordance with the Brandenburg Water Division Ordinance and the Land Shipping Ordinance. The database also contains all rivers that are subject to reporting according to the Water Framework Directive (water basin > 10 km²). However, not all waters are 2. Order included. For the watercourses included, a complete
lacontemporary, topologically correct, flow-directed water management completely
and homogeneously attributed spatial data stock.
The waters were collected on the basis of the above data sources on a scale of 1:10.000.
For the production of a complete hydrological and water management database, some water axes extend beyond the national border. For water axes outside Brandenburg, not all attributes are fully filled.
The designation and coding of the water network follows the modeling provision of the LAWA Directive for Area and Water Encryption.
The documentation includes the recorded changes compared to the V4.2 version.
