File indicates in which areas, through agricultural nature and landscape management, blue services for water authority purposes can be compensated. Buffer zones consisting of a herb-rich zone that is mowed periodically and from which the clippings are removed and sustainable soil management regarding all measures aimed at retaining water and improving water quality. Soil is the basis of circular agriculture. Soil improvement by applying rough manure or crop residues increases the organic matter in the soil. A soil with a high organic matter content can absorb more water and is more resistant to drought. Soil can also retain more nitrogen and minerals and has a richer soil life that contributes to healthy crops. Within the limited soil area, management agreements can be made whereby the quality of the soil improves. This part of the Amended Draft Nature Management Plan 2024 for the management year 2025 was adopted on 17 April 2024 and from 1 May 2024 the period of view starts.
