DATASET impacts on the coast due to climate change (PIMA ADAPTA COSTAS)
Description
This dataset includes three groups of data: The first one that refers to the physical characteristics of the beaches (length, berm height, submerged beach slope, sediment caliber). The second group incorporates different indicators of its maritime climate obtained from the propagation of waves, tides and arises from external waters at a depth of 10 m (Hs, Tp, Dir, extremal). Finally, the third group includes the extent of coastal flooding associated with the different climate change scenarios and the associated extreme regime.
The products collected in the viewer are the result of a regional methodological approach based on the state of the art of scientific knowledge. The methodological design responds to the need to provide the planner with tools that allow him to have a regional catalog of the impacts and priorities to be addressed. In no case should the viewer information be used for civil works projects, it is for informational purposes only.
