Urban bitLife: mobile application for air quality
Description
urban bitLife is a mobile application that approaches the topic of air quality in a playful way.
A virtual being, a so-called bitPet, lives on the mobile phone and reacts to the air pollution that prevails around the phone. In polluted areas it loses energy, in parks and green areas it can regenerate. An influence on the health of the animal by the user is therefore only possible by changing the physical position. This leads to a link and interaction between the health of the user and that of the bitPet. Currently, urban bitLife is available for the cities of Vienna and Linz.
