HK 50 A – Hydrogeological map of North Rhine-Westphalia 1:50.000 (analog)
Description
The hydrogeological map of North Rhine-Westphalia on a scale of 1:50.000 [HK 50] shows the distribution, location and rock characteristics of the aquifers and low-level aquifers found in the leaf area. In the cards, looser and solid rocks are assigned different permeability classes according to their hydraulic properties; the width of the usable groundwater space is also shown in the loose rock. The maps also contain information on the location of springs, wells, groundwater monitoring stations and potential groundwater hazards (excavations, deposits). Cutting series give an impression of the storage, width and hydraulic connections of the hydrogeological units.
