WMS Digital Orthophotos Summer Flight MV (WMS_MV_DOP_S)
Description
Digital orthophotos (DOP) are high-resolution, distortion-free aerial images that have a uniform image scale and an exact reference to the country coordinate system. They document the state of the landscape at a given point in time and contain all the landscape information visible from the ‘bird’s eye’, without it having already been selected or structured. DOPs are photo-based, pixel-based, geocoded and layered, and are available with a ground resolution of 0.1 m (DOP10), 0.2 m (DOP20) and 0.4 m (DOP40). Through the use of image processing methods, DOP emerges from the current aerial image inventory. Starting with the image flying year 2004, the DOPs are also available as color infrared images (CIR). Since 2013, the aerial areas have been included both inside and outside the leafy situation. Aerial photographs or DOPs are ideal for reconstructing the historical development of landscapes and settlement areas. This service represents only those orthophotos that were flown in the summer. The summer tiles are visible from 1.15.000. For better orientation, the DOP tiles with high transparency (masked) are integrated at smaller scales than 1:15,000. The entire federal state can now be displayed without gaps in the leafy state. The timeliness for the land area is about five years. It is operated by the State of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, State Office for Internal Administration.
