Description

Health Canada has completed a safety review on the potential risk of BIA-ALCL, following an increase in the number of cases reported internationally. The review analysed the available information on the Canadian rate of BIA-ACL (the number of confirmed cases of BIA-ALCL reported in relation to the number of implants sold in Canada over the past 10 years).
