Densely populated areas of the Land Board’s planning information system
Description
Agglomerations are areas of a rural municipality where spatial planning must follow the principles specific to urban areas.
Cities, towns and small towns, and less often village centres, are considered to be densely populated areas.
Densification areas are dealt with in the Planning Act, Section 7(4) of the Land Reform Act and Section 38(1), point 3, of the Nature Conservation Act.
