Basic registration of crop parcels (BRP)
Description
The BRP – crop parcels consists of the location of agricultural parcels in the Netherlands with the crop grown.
The file is a selection of information from the Basic Registration Percels (BRP) of the Netherlands Enterprise Agency.
The file contains the following attributes:
— CAT_GEWASCATEGORY: Crop category of the crop on the parcel
— GWS_GEWAS: Crop on the plot
— GWS_GEWASCODE: Crop code of the crop
The boundaries of the agricultural parcels are based on the boundaries of the RVO reference register, the former AAN file (Agrarian Areaal Netherlands).
The user of the parcel must draw up his crop parcels annually and indicate which crop is grown on the parcel in question. For each year, a dataset is generated from 15 May. Of the most recent BRP crop parcels, a view services and a download service are available. From 2009 to 2022, only atom download services are available.
