Description
The maps contain administrative statements about WFD-relevant groundwater bodies in the Free State of Thuringia.
The demarcation of the groundwater bodies (GWK) is carried out by intersection of hydrogeological sub-areas with hydrological catchment areas and is therefore not identical to the surface water bodies (OWK).
Information on the affiliations of groundwater bodies is shown in the following maps:
— GWK coordination rooms
— GWK-competent federal state
The data is used to provide general information to the public about the affiliations of the WFD-relevant groundwater bodies in Thuringia.
