Description
Water quality of bathing sites controlled by the ARS since 2010.
The health check covers all areas accessible to the public where bathing is usually practised by a large number of bathers and which have not been subject to a prohibition order.
Bathing water, whether developed or not, is recorded annually by the municipalities. The census takes place before the start of each bathing season and plans to take into account the public opinion expressed during the previous season. For this purpose, registers are made available to the public in town hall.
Bathing water quality shall be determined on the basis of test results from samples taken at a monitoring point defined by the ARS and the manager. This always identical sampling point(s) is defined in the maximum user area of bathers.
The annual data correspond to checks carried out from 1 October of year n-1 to 30 September of year n.
