LGRB-BW LBD: Cable cars in Baden-Württemberg
Description
The Landesbergdirektion supervises the construction and operation of cable hoists and funiculars in Baden-Württemberg. As part of its tasks, the Landesbergdirektion issues the operating licence, confirms the appointment of the plant managers and their deputies, annually checks the technical safety of the above-mentioned cableways and supervises the occupational and health protection of the employees of these cableway operators. Any accidents or special operational events related to the rope and funicular lifts will be evaluated and, if necessary, improvements to protect passengers and employees will be ordered.
