Description

The water structure describes the water, its shores and the water environment. Varied structures are important as the basis for the ecological functioning of the water body and thus for the preservation and development of natural communities. It is part of the hydromorphological quality components of the WFD Water Framework Directive. Please note the following information on the completeness and quality of the data provided: due to inaccuracies in the acquisition of technical objects, there are occasional non-valid geometries according to OGC Schema validation. Since GIS servers such as ArcGIS server, GeoServer or UMN MapServer have to use/process ever more accurate data bases, the inspection routine is always further developed and warns in the tolerance range as well as in the topological recording of inaccuracies (e.g. by third-party software). This means that geometries can no longer be displayed or recorded. The objected geometry errors include self-intersections (self-intersections) or double bases. Therefore, the LUBW cannot guarantee the completeness and stability of the Download Service (WFS). If necessary, please check the completeness on the basis of the presentation services also offered (WMS).
