Progress report on mobility and possible trajectories to achieve the 2050 climate targets with the 2030 interim target. Brief report.
Description
In the Mobility Assessment Report commissioned by the Federal Ministry of Transport, Innovation and Technology (BMVIT), the Federal Environment Agency examined 50 possible individual measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from the transport sector. In addition, the acceptance of the measures was also surveyed in a representative survey. This summary summarises the ten actions with the greatest impact potential. The progress report serves as the technical basis for the national climate and energy plan , with the aim of reducing greenhouse gas emissions in Austria by 36% by 2030. The transport sector is one of the main emitters of greenhouse gases in Austria. Ensuring mobility in the future and at the same time reducing the environmental impact is the major challenge of the required mobility transition.
