Global radiation (10 m grid data) (WMS service)
Description
Global radiation, or potential topographical radiation enjoyment, indicates the amount of energy that hits the Earth's surface directly in a year. Dispersions are not taken into account. With regard to its significance, the relief parameter thus goes beyond parameters such as sun and shadow slope or a classification of exposure. The transmission rate (reduced permeability of the atmosphere due to cloudiness) was set at 60% (60% = approx. average value for Germany). Definition and calculation: SAGA standard. Unit: [KWh/m2]
