Description
Sediments of the upper chalk appear almost nationwide like those of the lower chalk. The sequences are only crossed by the central salt wall Lollo/Lisa and some disturbance zones in the south and east. High altitudes are particularly pronounced above salt cushions and along the flanks of diapires, while the largest depths are reached in the southern edge sinks around the central salt wall (Lollo/Lisa).
