Environmental monitoring, marine and lake sediments (display service)
Description
Sediments in accumulation areas constitute a sink for many elements and environmental toxins. Analysis of sediment samples has therefore become an important tool in the environmental monitoring work. Data Hosting is a system established by the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency to increase the availability and delivery of various types of environmental monitoring data, including sediments.
Environmental monitoring of marine sediments - WMS only displays information on sampling stations and sites in the context of national, regional and local environmental monitoring of sediments and dumping sites. For downloading time series data and statistical information, please refer to SGU's map viewer application (online source).
