Drinking water priority area
Description
Objective in the regional plan for securing water bodies for drinking water production on the basis of the secured demand (objective) or the long-term demand (principle) for drinking water, so that their long-term regenerative capacity is guaranteed and impairments are avoided. Other spatially significant uses of the land must be compatible with the protection of drinking water.
