Information about points of interest (POI) in all Baltic countries. There are many different categories of objects. Points of interest are included in the database as points and, in part, as Areas of Interest (AOI).
Points of interest have the following attributes: category, name, type word, trade mark info, address, opening time, phone number, website address, email address, cartographic display class of the object.
Each place of interest can be assigned to its own access points, i.e. places on the road network, which are the best places to reach the point of interest.
REGIO provides a database of POIs (Points of Interest) across the Baltic States. The POI data of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania can be provided in a large variety of categories and types.
Points of interest are in the database as point features and as area features (AOI)
The POI data has following attributes: category, name, type, brand, address, visiting hours, phone, www, email, display class.
When required, POI dataset can be supplemented with unique access point information.
