Atlantic Provinces

Description

Contained within the Atlas of Canada's Reference Map Series, 1961 to 2010, is a map of the Atlantic provinces. The map focuses on the four provinces of New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland. The map shows federal, provincial and territorial boundaries, and also boundaries of counties, of larger parishes, and of places of more than 50 000 inhabitants. The transportation content consists of roads (shown in four classes), ferries, and railways. Populated places are shown in one of five size classes. The map shows national parks and the larger provincial parks. Data is as of about 1990.
