Groundwater Quality Indicators: Detection of Pesticides in Waters (2020)
Description
The presence of pesticide substances in water is due to the use of plant protection products in agriculture. Some of these substances are taken into account in the assessment of chemical status and are regulated in the DSR, while others are not yet regulated, and could pose a risk as potential contaminants. In this analysis we have considered all the pesticide substances extracted from the Monitoring Programmes (monitoring and operational control programme) planned to assess the status, in compliance with state and European regulations, for which information is available in NABIA (Water status and quality information system).
The following exchange rates have been defined for this indicator:
Se ha considerado el valor de 0,1 µg/L establecido en el Real Decreto 1514/2009 por el que se regula la protección de las aguas subterráneas contra la contaminación y el deterioro.
The station titration marks the maximum available value of any of the pesticides evaluated.
