The moor cadastre is not an official directory, even if this impression can arise. In formerly independent Baden, DGK5 (German Basic Map 1:5000) and in formerly independent Württemberg (German Basic Map 1:5000) and in the formerly self-employed Württemberg the land register card 1: 2500. For Oberschwaben, the digitising basis was the bog map in scale 1: 50000 used. In addition to the bog surfaces, the descriptions of the drill profiles drawn during exploration are recorded in a database. Drill profiles are measured at right/high value and, if necessary, can be integrated into map representations. These capture the sequence of layers from the surface to the mineral substrate. The layers are determined by storage density, degree of decomposition, thickness, vegetation content, granulation of mineral material and type of mudden. Scales: 1:2500, 1:5000, 1:50000
