WMS Service (Web Map Service) Areas vulnerable to nitrate pollution (Quatrien Report 2016-2019. Dir 91/676/EEC)
Description
The Maps Web service entitled “Zones vulnerable to nitrate pollution” (Quatrien Report 2016-2019. Dir 91/676/EEC)" allows the visualisation and consultation of the data set representing areas vulnerable to pollution by nitrates from agricultural activity, in accordance with Directive 91/676/EEC concerning the protection of waters against pollution caused by nitrates from agricultural sources (the Nitrates Directive). They are controlled by underground and surface sampling stations, and the information is reported to the European Commission every four years.
This version of vulnerable zones corresponds to that set out in the monitoring report on Directive 91/676/EEC for the four-year period 2016-2019.
