Nitrate contaminated areas pursuant to § 13aDüV

Description

The nitrate backdrop according to § 13a DüV (2021) informs about all areas contaminated with nitrate which were designated with the entry into force of the Bbg DüV (2022). In these designated areas, the deviating or supplementary requirements pursuant to § 13a (2) DüV, § 1 Bbg DüV (2022) apply in principle. Areas with a precipitation greater than 550 mm are shown separately in the present technical framework for the implementation of the requirements pursuant to §13a (2) No. 7 of the Fertiliser Ordinance (DüV 2021). Requirements according to §13a (2) No. 7 of the Fertiliser Ordinance (DüV 2021): In crops with a sowing or planting after 1 February, fertilisers with a substantial nitrogen content may only be applied if a catch crop has been grown on the area concerned in the autumn of the previous year, which was not changed before 15 January. This does not apply to areas where crops are harvested after 1 October and not to areas in areas where the annual rainfall in the long-term average is less than 550 millimeters per square meter.
