Master Plan of the Dehesas of Andalusia
Description
The Master Plan of the Dehesas de Andalucía is the general planning instrument for the dehesas located in the Autonomous Community of Andalusia. It is valid for 20 years and will have at least five-yearly revisions.
In its preparation, the representative organizations of the sector have participated, and it has been approved by Decree 172/2017, of October 24, 2017.
The completion of the Master Plan has been aligned with the elaboration of the Agenda for Development
Rural Andalusia 2014-2020 to ensure consistency between the content of both
documents.
Its content is structured in five large blocks:
- Characterization of the meadows of Andalusia.
- Analysis of new uses and opportunities for the dehesa.
- Diagnosis of the current situation of the meadows of Andalusia.
- Strategies for action.
- Monitoring and review.
