JHS 184 Fix point measurement in the EUREF-FIN coordinate system
Description
Finland has introduced a pan-European coordinate system and elevation system. Public administration recommendations JHS 153, JHS 154 and JHS 163 provide definitions and recommendations for their use. The materials produced under these systems are compatible as defined by the INSPIRE Directive, regardless of national borders. The sharing of data within the national borders is also effective. The systems have been realised on the terrain by measuring national reference points covering the whole country. Local reference points and measurements are tied to national points. This Recommendation addresses the classification of EUREF-FIN points, measurement methods, determination of coordinates and accuracy requirements. This Recommendation uses terminology in accordance with ISO19111 and the INSPIRE Directive. National reference points are available at the National Land Survey of Professionals’ Map. (13.6.2013)
